Jason graduated from Wichita State, in 2004, with a BA in Sport Administration. He began his career with the Y in 2003, as an intern and Manager on Duty for the South YMCA. In 2005, he left Wichita to become a Sports Director for the YMCA of Greater Kansas City. He returned in 2009 as the Sports Director of the new Andover YMCA. In that role, he’s served on the Andover Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and the City of Andover Parks Committee. He also earned the Strong Kids Staff Campaigner of the Year award for the Andover YMCA, as well as the Kevin Padrnos award for the Greater Wichita YMCA.

Bruce Mace came to the North YMCA from Northern California in May 2012.  He has over 20 years of administrative and programming youth and adult sport experiences with YMCA’s, Higher Educational and Municipal Recreation Departments.   Bruce received his undergraduate degree in Leisure Studies and Sciences from the University of Oregon March 1992 and he has his Organizational Leadership Certification (Sr. Director Certification) from the YMCA of the USA in June 2008.  He currently resides in Andover and is often seen riding his bike to/from his home to the North YMCA.

Shannan is responsible for overseeing the LIFECHANGING Challenge, healthy lifestyle coaching and personal/group training. She is a YMCA Certified personal trainer, group exercise and Pilate’s instructor, certified in TRX, and RIP Training.  She received her Bachelor’s in Health Promotion and Wellness from Fort Hays State University in 2008. Shannan started with the Y in March of 2009 as a personal trainer at the East Y, and has served in her current role at the North Y since November 2009.  Shannan enjoys working with individuals and groups to help them achieve their fitness goals. Her specialties include: weight loss, running, beginners fitness, and pilates towers.

Leticia holds a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts from Emporia State University and has been dancing since age five. She was captain of dance teams at both ESU and Barton County Community College, and has personally competed in both New York and L.A. She’s been teaching dance and cheer for 10 years, including coaching dance and cheer for Emporia High School. Leticia is a certified National Dance Alliance Instructor and is also certified in CPR, First Aid and AED.

Jamie Moore has been with the Greater Wichita YMCA since 2000 where she gained experience and training working in the West YMCA KidZone before coming to the North branch YMCA as Youth & Family Coordinator. Jamie is certified in CPR, First Aid and AED and Signs and Symptoms of Child Abuse.

BS in Exercise Science from WSU focus in: Endurance, Strength, Mobility, Core, Active Aging, and Weight loss.

 

Ashley Lentz has been with the YMCA since 2007, working in both the group exercise and fitness departments at the North YMCA.  Her certifications include ACSM’s Health and Fitness Specialist and Cancer Exercise Trainer, as well as YMCA’s Personal Trainer, Pilates, Yoga, Group Exercise and Cycle, and Livestrong at the YMCA Instructor.  She holds BA and MEd degrees in Exercise Science and Functional Aging, as well as an MS in Environmental Health.  Her specialties include active aging and exercise for cancer survivors.

B.S in Exercise Science from WSU.  Specialties: Group Training, sport specific training (golf, basketball, baseball/softball, tennis) and Weight loss. Experience in positive Motivation and unwavering encouragement.

 

 Brynne has a degree in Health and Physical Education.  With a concentration in Strength and Conditioning.

 Specialties: Youth fitness, group training, weight loss, Boot camps and mass building

 

Julie has a BA from Wheaton College and a MEd in Education from Slippery Rock University.
Her certifications include:  ACSM CPT, RRCA Running Coach, TRX Rip Core and Suspension Training,  YMCA Personal Trainer, CPR, Oxygen, AED, and First Aid.
Julie's specialties:  Running and race preparation, Endurance sport conditioning, Baby Boomer Fitness, Youth sport specific conditioning, Special Needs, weight loss, and Boot Camps.

 

Rhonda has a Health Science Degree In Respiratory Therapy from WSU Specialties: Pilates towers, geriatric fitness, exercise for disabilities, special populations, cancer survivors, and kids fitness

 Jacob holds a Bachler's in Exercise Science from Wichita State Univeristy. He is a certified Health Fitness Specialist from ACSM and is also a YMCA certified personal trainer as well as TRX suspention and Rip core trainer. Jacob speacilizes in weight loss, MASS BUILDING, TRX, sport performence trainning, younth fitness, and group trainning.
