Hillary started her Y career teaching dance at the South YMCA 13 years ago.  She left the Wichita YMCA Association for a short time to join the Ozark Mountain Family YMCA.  While there she worked her way up to Associate Executive Director.  In that role, she was responsible for daily operations, facility management, budget, Annual Campaign and Special Events.  In addition she gained experience in volunteer and board recruitment and management.  She returned to the South YMCA last Fall as the Dance, Cheer and Gymnastics Director. 

Jason has been involved with the YMCA for over 8 years. He has been volunteering for the North YMCA Dance Company assisting with prop building, set-up and take-down for the past 5 years. Jason is a devoted family man and enjoys supporting his 2 daughters in their YMCA dance programs. Jason also holds his B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Wichita State University.

Kasey has been with the Greater Wichita YMCA for twelve years and is very excited to be working with the South staff and community. She recently made the transition from our El Dorado YMCA this May. Kasey has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Human Services and a Masters in Organizational Development from Friends University.

Derek received a degree in Communications and his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Wichita State University in 2014. Derek started his Y career in 2013 as a personal trainer and he specializes in rehab, sports specific training, weight loss, nutritional coaching and strength training. Derek became our Fitness Director in August of 2015.

Liz began her Y career in August 2008 at the North Branch.  She taught and choreographed there for 3 years working with dancers of all ages and skill levels.  She joined the West Branch in June of 2011 as the Dance Coordinator.  In the Fall of 2014 she was promoted to the Dance, Cheer and Gymnastics Director here at the South Branch. 

Elizabeth started her career with the YMCA in 2013 as a competitive cheer coach.  She was then promoted to cheer/dance/gymnastics coordinator in July of 2014. Elizabeth has 6 years of teaching experience and grew up at the East Y while competing on the competitive gymnastics team there. 

Anna began teaching group exercise for the Andover YMCA in 2010. She has also taught group exercise at McConnell AFB, Health Strategies, the Derby Rec Center and the Rose Hill Rec Center. Anna received her management degree from Friends University, and has a love and passion for health and fitness.

Erica has been with the Greater Wichita YMCA for 7 years. She started her YMCA career in 2007 at our Northwest location as a Kid Zone attendant. She came to the South YMCA as a birthday party hostess in October of 2014. Erica became our Youth & Family coordinator March of 2015.

Sean holds a BA degree in Exercise Science form WSU.  He is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  Sean is also a former collegiate athlete, and has 6 years of experience as a certified personal trainer. 

Specialties: Athletics, power lifting, body building, HIT/cross training, bootcamp and weight loss.

Certifications: NSCA-CSCS, TRX, Dynamex Medicine Ball.

Danielle is currently pursuing a B.S. degree in Exercise Science from WSU. 

Specialties: General fitness

Christian is currently pursuing a B.S. degree in Exercise Science at WSU. 

Specialties: Muscle gain, weight loss, athletic performance and physique building.

Certifications: ACSM Health Fitness Specialist

Specialties: Weight/fat loss, muscle gain, group and personal training, general fitness, interval training (including H.I.I.T.), and healthy lifestyle development


Certifications: ACSM Health Fitness Specialist, Healthy Lifestyle Principles, and RIP Nationally Certified 

Specialties: weight loss, group and personal training, healthy lifestyle development, post natal weight loss, RIP Trainer, TRX, and kettle bell training


Whitney holds a B.S. in Health Promotion from Emporia State University. She has been with the YMCA since November 2013, starting out as a full time personal trainer until February 2014 when she took the Assistant Fitness Director position until January 2015. She is now a full time personal trainer, and wellness coach

Certifications: ACSM Certified Personal Trainer certification,  YMCA Strength and Conditioning, and Healthy Lifestyle Principles.


Brandon is pursuing a B.S. in Exercise Science from WSU. Experience in personal training ranges from beginners to military physical conditioning
