Youth Fitness

Helping children develop healthy habits today will make a difference the rest of their lives.

Youth ages 13 & up can enjoy most Y amenities, including the indoor track, fitness centers, group exercise classes, family & lap pools, and gymnasiums. New members can get expert help starting their fitness routine with MY FIT.

(Ages 8-12). It’s best to start healthy habits early. Attend a free orientation, then use our kid-size, kid-friendly equipment to train safely and effectively. Offered at select Y locations.

(Ages 6+). Achieving success builds confidence. Let the Y help give you that personal edge and take you to the next level in your sport. Contact any Fitness Director for details.

(Students Together Afterschool for Recreation & Sports) allows area elementary school students a chance to enjoy free supervised activities (gym, swim and more) once a week. Call 264-4066 ext. 5595 for more information.

  • Youth Group Exercise (ages 8-13). We make fitness fun with these youth-tailored classes, featuring cardio training, strength/endurance, flexibility, and recreation.

  • Fun Fit (ages 6-12). Having fun can improve your health. Enjoy this class jam-packed with games designed to increase muscular strength & endurance, improve flexibility, and develop lifelong fitness skills. Offered during summer at all YMCAs. June - August: M-F, 9-11a. Included in membership.
