YMCA CAMP HYDE, ADVENTURE CAMPS, & SPECIAL INTEREST CAMPS

YMCA staff are committed to serving you and your family. That's why we strive to both model and exemplify the Y's core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. For our camp counselors, helping young people grow and feel a sense of belonging is the top priority.

My name is Brett “Wheels” Womack, and this is my 12th summer at Camp Hyde. I work for Haysville schools during the school year, and have been employed through the district for 9 years. During the previous 10 years at Camp Hyde, I have worked with a variety of different groups such as Pathfinders, Sports Camp, Tower Coordinator, and Teens. I'm looking forward to watching campers make many lasting memories, while creating a fun and exciting atmosphere for them! My favorite thing about camp is having kids step out of their norm and try new things every day. Outside of camp I enjoy spending time with my family, coaching soccer, and playing golf.
