Josh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Administration from Wichita State University. He started his YMCA career in Wichita, Kansas as an intern in the Sports Office in March of 2001 at the East Branch YMCA. By August of 2001, Josh was promoted to Sports Director and served in that role until May of 2005 when he became the Executive Director of the East Branch YMCA. While serving in this role, he was also responsible for leading the associations sports quality team and continued in that capacity while he was in Wichita. In July of 2009, Josh became the Executive Director of the North YMCA and served in that role until March of 2012 when he was extended an offer to become a Group Vice President for the YMCA of Greater Omaha, Nebraska. While serving in Nebraska, Josh was responsible for turning the Sarpy YMCA around that was financially negative while also leading the Association’s strongest branch and leading the associations sports branch. Upon leaving in January of 2014, the Sarpy YMCA was the second best Y in the association and youth sports grew over prior year for the first time in seven years. In January of 2014, Josh received an opportunity to come home and be a part of leading and serving in the role of Director of Sports Initiatives for the Greater Wichita YMCA with the goal of serving 40,000 participants by the year 2020. In addition to his role as Director of Sports Initiatives, Josh accepted the positions as Vice President of Programs in April of 2016 and the Northwest YMCA Branch Director in February of 2017.
Catherine graduated in December 2008 from Wichita State University, earning her MA in Sports Administration. Catherine began working for the YMCA in June 2007 as a Site Supervisor at the Farha Sport Center. She joined the West YMCA in November 2009 as the Sports Coordinator, before coming back to work as the Sports Director at the South YMCA & Farha Sport Center in January 2011.
Alexi holds an ME in Sport Management from Wichita State University. She has worked previously at the Heart of America Region Volleyball Office in Kansas City and was a Graduate Assistant at Wichita State. Alexi joined the Farha Sport Center as the Director of Volleyball in May 2014. She oversees all volleyball programs at the Farha Sport Center Indoor Courts and the South and West YMCA branches.
Andrew graduated in May of 2013 from Wichita State with a Bachelor's in Nursing. He started working with the YMCA in the SACC After School Program in 2012. From there, Andrew joined the Farha Sports Center in July of 2014 as the Advanced Soccer Director. Andrew holds a National "D" USSF coaching license, and has been a U.S Youth Soccer club trainer and coach for nine years.
Sarah graduated from Friends University in 2012 with a degree in Human Services/Psychology. She began working for the YMCA in July of 2014 as a Site Supervisor at the West and South YMCA. Sarah joined the Farha Sports Centers that winter. She has been coaching Micro classes for over a year with the YMCA and has over 4 years’ experience working with goal keepers. Sarah oversees the outdoor sports for the West and South YMCA from spring to fall and assists with the Farha Indoor Soccer program during the winter season.
Victoria has been with the YMCA since 2011 and currently serves as the Volleyball Coordinator for the Farha Centers. She previously served as a coach for the Farha Cougars and was assistant to the head volleyball coach at Friends University. While playing collegiate volleyball at Friends University, Victoria obtained a degree in Business Administration and Psychology. She is currently working on her Master's in Business Administration from Friends University.
Paige has been with the YMCA since 2001 when she served as a site supervisor at the East YMCA, Middle School Madness coordinator and youth recreation sports coordinator. Paige previously served as an administrative assistant for USD 259 for 26 years and the Curtis Middle School director of after school programs. She is a graduate of Wichita East High School and has two sons and five grandchildren.
Samantha has been with the YMCA since 2013, starting as a concessions stand shift worker and currently serving as the Concessions Shift Leader for both the Northwest and Farha Courts locations. In her role, Samantha leads a staff on game days, procures and selects concessions food based on nutrition guidelines and ensures all facilities are kept to FDA standards. She is currently attending Butler Community College in pursuits of a Business Management degree.
Lupe Villareal: Maintenance Coordinator
